The Chair is a reality television/competition show which allows unemployed young South Africans to compete in an interview and a task challenge to “secure” a job in the industry or sector that they trained, studied for, or wish to join. Potential employers and employment agencies will be invited to interview candidates on television. Each week we shortlist four candidates for a position that needs to be filled by an employer. Four candidates will go through grueling interviews after which, two of them will be eliminated, leaving the last two finalists to compete by completing a task or challenge, and hopefully one "Candidate” will walk away with the job. The Chair aims to deal with South Africa's unemployment crisis by connecting employers with job seekers by offering qualified individuals the chance to improve their lives and earn a job. We will be recruiting in all industries and at all levels of employment. Our presenter is Mpho Monareng
