Roots showcases the various genres of traditional and indigenous music in a mixture of education and entertainment.
The two young presenters, who are also representatives of each gender, south African language mix (one is fluent in Zulu while the other in Sepedi) are very knowledgeable on the subject matter of traditional and indigenous music to hold credibility.
