Although he officially takes on his duties on 1 April 2014, Maijang has been Acting Channel Head of SABC1 Mzansi fo Sho for more than a year. Previously he occupied the position of Assistant Programme Manager at the channel.

With a rich Commissioning Editor’s background, Maijang is well-positioned and experienced at leading a channel that prides itself in delivering cutting-edge content to inform, entertain and inspire, crafting and telling Mzansi’s authentic stories like no other.

Maijang’s work experience includes:

• Project Manager for Formal Education
