What is Q1?

Q1 is SABC 1’s unique Q-number. You will see that we have this showing in the corner of your TV screen. It means if you want to find out more about what we have for you, simply connect to our Q-number at any time, day or night. You the people of Mzansi can stay in touch with us at the click of a button.

There are NO SUBSCRIPTION fees and all calls and data charges at VAS rates. So whatever you are charged to call your parents, friends or even Gogo! Then that is what it costs to use Q1 on 08 73 10 10 10.

You get more!! With all the excitement of the Soccer World Cup, some of your favourite programmes will be moving to accommodate the games. Q1 will help you find your favourite programmes and what times they will be showing. You can find out when Generations, the Bold and Beautiful, YO TV and the News are next showing.

How does it work?

• When see or hear our Q-number you simply ‘Turn On and Tune In’.
• To ‘Turn On’ you dial 08 73 10 10 10.
• The Qkey system then asks you for the Q-number.
• To ‘Tune In’ you enter our unique Q-number which is 1.
• You can then choose what interests you from the menu options available to you.

Remember dial 08 73 10 10 10 and after you hear “Q-number” punch in 1 on your phone so that you can listen to more of what SABC 1 has to offer.
