At 18:30 and SABC1 Mzansi Fo Sho viewers will be introduced to a brand new reloaded version of Jam Alley called Jam Alley Crew vs Crew. The show will introduce a fresh face as the new presenter, Siyabonga Metane, the popular hip hop artist better known to his fans as ‘Slikour.’

This is what the elated Siyabonga had to say about his role in the new show, “Firstly, I’m honoured to have been considered for the presenting role. I’m looking forward to an exciting show and I hope I’ll live up to the expectations and excitements generated around it.”

Jam Alley Crew vs Crew will come complete with a brand new look, new fabulous set, new format, and exciting new games for the contestants. We now have 2 crews (teams) consisting of 5 friends going up against each other.  The audience will also be split into 2 groups and assigned to cheer for a specific crew. The winning crew stands a chance to win for themselves a whopping R10 000 cash prize.

“The channel will continue to revisit its programmes as a way of ensuring that we deliver cutting edge shows which resonate with our target audience,” says Vukile Madlala, Head of Publicity at SABC1. “We are convinced that Slikour will bring in a new element to enrich the show with his talent, exposure and a wealth of experience,” she adds.

The format of the new show is divided into 3 main segments; Guest Performance, Performance Challenges (karaoke, freestyle and dance style), and Buzzer Quiz. There will be lots and lots of prizes for members of the audience too!

“We are looking forward to implementing the exciting changes to this popular youth show. We are also excited to be providing the youth with their 5 minutes of fame on national television,” says Melody Xaba, the show’s Producer.
