FRIDAYS
Entertainment Show

A lively and participatory youth orientated variety game show where teenagers have the opportunity to interact with local artists, sports personalities or actors. Participants answer a quiz on the latest trends in the music world and also get the chance to perform to the latest popular songs. Presented by Nnekwa Tsajwa and Seipati Seoke (a.k.a. Twasa). Produced by Red Pepper.

On Friday (2 October at 18h30) muso and TV presenter Thato 'T’do' Mahlatsi joined Jam Alley to co-host the variety show alongside presenter Twasa. T'do, who's been in the music industry for eight years, takes over from long running co-presenter Nnekwa Tsajwa, who played out his final episode last week.

More about T'do:

Thato 'T’do' Mahlatsi, born in Soweto, 26 years ago, began his entertainment career in 2001 when he presented SABC 1's magazine show Get Real.
Once the show ended it's run he arrived back on the scene in 2004 as one half of the hip hop tag team, Zulu Mobb, with his partner Dez Demona.

The group went on to release two albums: Corner Bullet & Knife (2004) and Zuluminati (2005), which were nominated for a Metro FM Music Award and a Channel O Music Video Award.

Musicians and producers T'bo has worked with include: Slikour, Flabba, Mr Selwyn, Wicked, Mapaputsi, Psyfo and Amu. After two Zulu Mobb albums and guest appearances, T’do is currently working in studio to prepare his solo album which is set for release in 2010, under the Buttabing Entertainment label.

Over the past two-years T'bo has travelled across the country as a host and performer. His gigs have included: the Sprite Hip Hoop Tour (2007), Cell C Careers Roadshow (2007 and 2008), I.D. Urself Now (an SABC Education drive, 2008) and he's performed with Slikour and Shugasmakx as a solo artist.
