SUNDAYS
Music Show

Moribo: Rhythm of Africa is a music show that explores the source of traditional South African music, in areas where each type of music gets played and performed every day.

If one can speak, then one can sing too. And if one can walk, that person can dance too. If one wants to know a person, just catch him or her when in a happy mood, celebration without much inhibitor. The song, the dance, the dress, the instruments – whether indigenous or acquired, are elements for the expression of a people’s soul. Moribo: Rhythm of Africa goes to the source of traditional music, in areas where this music is alive and blooming each and every day.

Traditional Music is a combination of all these elements at their most innocent or most artistic that one touches the raw nerve of a people to provide the viewer with a gift of who they are. Rhythm of Africa is a medium, a vehicle that takes the best elements of TV to transport our song, our dance, and ourselves to each other and to the stranger.

The show is presented by Lerato Moloisane and Nhlanhla Ngwekazi.

The problem we have in our country is our entretainment does belong to us,We the South Africans. Our upcoming artists are not recognised by big recording companies. They ended up being frustrated by the entertainment industry and went back to the street and commit crime due to hunger

Why dont we make them feel welcome in this industry,by making our own entertainment to be rcognised world wide. There is too much talent in our country.Lets be ourself Ma-Africa.This is painful
