Family Game Show

Friends Like These is a South African television game show based on the British format of the same name and produced locally by Urban Brew Studios in which each week an all-male team of friends competes against an all-female group of friends to win a dream holiday.

We bring together two teams of absolute, total and utter best mates, one team of girls, and one team of lads. These teams will battle it out, head to head, to win the chance to play for the greatest holiday they will ever go on as a group. There are five players per team.
This season has a twist – we want “Family Friends” – so contestants must be related!

To win their dream holiday, our teams must complete a series of challenges. The friends play these challenges solo; one guy versus one girl. Each person can play only once so the pressure really is on to match the mate to the task. Do they leave the most able friend till last to pull them through in the final instance, or do they go out all guns firing from the start? It’s all about strategy.

Each challenge has been especially designed to suit both sexes- none of the tasks rely on strength, height or weight, they all depend on control, balance, strategy, memory, technique and ability to remain calm when all else around you is battlefield.

When the first five challenges have been completed, the winning team will go through to the final round where they will be given the opportunity to play for their own individual holiday tickets. This is where their friendship really comes under the microscope because each mate will be playing to win tickets for the others. If a mate lets them down, they don’t go away. The pressure is on to win a ticket for your mates and the jeopardy is that you could win a ticket for your mate and they could then let you down and cost you the holiday. They will be depending on each other. There is also an “all or nothing” question option if the friends going on the holiday want to risk not going but take the chance at one more question so that everybody can go. That’s why it’s called “all or nothing”.

All through the show the teams are teased with VT’s of their holiday destination to show where they might or might not be going.

i love friends like this but Sbuda i must warn you guy please stop asking the participaters whom are they dating coz they seem to be having trouble on answering that question since i think you know they are on national tv and it is hard for them say things like that infront of thousands of fans, these may be in a notion of respect od infedility...please consider that carefully
